There's nothing all that impressive about the pictures in Playboy. Maybe people really DO read it for the articles. - The meeting starts now. - Soul Calibur tournament is a week from Saturday. Shaeffer Hall. Preregistration is outside the building before noon. Posters will be going up around campus. A sample is passed around. - SWAMP anime showing on Sunday Nov. 2, the day after the Soul Calibur tournament. Flyers are passed around. The background for the flyer is a circuit board. - Are we going to any movies in the next couple months? Matrix, maybe. Or is it just an hour and a half long ad for the game? There's an article about it in The Onion. - There's a Mindbridge meeting 2 weeks from now. - Has anyone seen the new $20 bill? Does it look like Monopoly money? If you were filthy rich, you could play Monopoly with real money and let people keep whatever they end up with at the end of the game. We see a demonstration of Liar's Poker with $1 bills. - Anything else? Anime news: It exists and there's probably more of it this week than there was last week. - Can you imagine a mini, super-deformed Megan running around? Big Megan and Little Megan. Maxi-Megan? This could spawn a whole line of children's toys. Is "spawn" really the word we want to use here? Children are like New York City: It's a fun place to visit but you don't want to live there. Ok, now that we've offended everyone from New York..... Kids are great if they're somebody else's because you can send them back when you get tired of them. - We end with a discussion of which name is more fitting: porno-girl or demi-goddess?
