SFLIS Minutes - June 11, 2003

- A grenade is placed in the president's seat while we wait for him.
- News articles are passed around, like "Doctors Reveal Bush Using Corked Vice-
  President."
- A sympathy card is passed around for people to sign.
- As soon as they stop letting us into the Mill, we'll start meeting at Pizza
  on Dubuque.  Pizza on Dubuque is bigger on the inside than it is on the
  outside.
  It looks like the Mill will be open next Wednesday (the 18th), since there's
  a concert scheduled for the 19th.
- There's no movie night this month unless we decide to have one.  If we do,
  what should we show?
- There was a Mindbridge meeting last week.  We don't know where they'll be
  moving to yet.
- July or August.  September at the latest - we'll have a movie night.  Subject
  to change.
  There will be a Farscape movie sometime.  Maybe we could show it.
  How about the entire Buffy series from beginning to end?  How much could
  people stand before they're "Buffied out?"
  How about the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie?
  A Godzilla marathon?
  Ankle Biters - a horror film about midget vampires.
  Yes, we should do a movie night sometime.
- Now we're going to pick a date to trash Marty's house.  July 12, 13, or 19?
  We decide on July 13.
- For our movie night, we might tenatively watch a Godzilla movie.
- SWAMP anime showing this sunday, the 15th.  W207 Poppajohn Business Bldg.
  1-8pm.  We will be watching stuff on VHS tapes!
  Flyers are passed around.
  There were about 6 people at the last show.  How many will be at this one?
- Is it possible to order a slice of pizza delivered?  We spend some time
  talking about it.
- And we end with a nostalgic discussion of video games.
