SFLIS Minutes - November 20, 2002 - Harry Potter was fun for those who went. We're doing Lord of the Rings on Dec. 18. - On Dec. 15 (the Sunday before finals) we'll be playing video games and maybe watching some anime. Or some naked baby cats (kitty porn). Room C125 Poppajohn. How about the "Twinkle Star Sprites" video game for Dreamcast? - We will probably have a movie night in January. We have a room in the IMU, so we think the building will be open then. All sorts of wacky fun next semester. - Anime showing this Sunday, Nov. 24, 1-8pm, C125 Poppajohn. We talk about people doing annoying things at SWAMP shows. During the dinner break at the next couple shows we'll watch fan videos that people bring in. - There's a new anime cable channel in the works. But will it be available in Iowa City? - TV towers need to be painted International Orange with special airplane repellant paint. - Computer programming languages. Fortran, Cobol, and supposedly a really twisted one that requires you to use Roman numerals. Is computer science considered to be liberal arts, entineering, science, or math? If cars were more like computers.... Which crashes more often - Windows or Macs? And when Linux crashes it says "Panic." - We watched Army of Darkness last week and it was Army of Darkness. - Gorilla Boogers are becoming popular in Japan.
