They had fun. The con would have made money if they'd cashed in all the empty cans. No ships got blown up in the Babylon5 game. - Jolly Blackburn is confirmed as guest for Gamicon Moo. Revenge of Chelsea the Cow will also be there. - We're going to IPTV on March 2, not the 9th. We'll be there for the last Red Green pledge break and then for Dr. Who. Anyone have an SF costume made from duct tape? A signup sheet is passed around. Meet at 7:30 at the Westfield. - SWAMP was asked to do the anime room at DemiCon 13 weeks in advance! The theme is horror. Does that mean scary anime, really bad anime, or really confusing anime? An idea for an anime LAN party - connect your computers together and share anime until your hard drives are full. Nothing definite right now, but it might be suggested at one of the anime shows to see what people think. - Now we have some random discussions - difficult classes at the UI, like basket weaving or ping pong. People are watching the Simpsons and giggling occasionally. - Book discussion at Barnes & Noble next Wednesday. Flash Foreward by Robert J. Sawyer. They had a really good discussion of Fellowship of the Ring last month. - No new SAGA news. But they have a flyer now. It was at Gamicon Lite. - Nobody here saw the movie 'Imposter.' More movies were discussed, but so much stuff at once that it was hard to hear any of it. - There's no movie night tonight because we couldn't get a room. - And we end with more random discussions. Movies, tv, etc. Superman movies vs. Lois & Clark tv, and a parody of Star Trek in Spanish. Schwartzenneger in "Hercules in New York" is supposedly one of the worst movies of all time. California is migrating across the country, judging from the way the younger college students are talking. Either that or the 80s are coming back. Like, gag me with a spoon. We almost avoid getting into a discussion of Deep Space 9 and Voyager, but it happens anyway.
