SFLIS Minutes - December 19, 2001 - The rest of the money for Lord of the Rings is collected, tickets are passed out. 8:45 at Sycamore Mall. - An attendance sheet is passed around. - Something has happened to one of the buildings at MIT. A picture of the One Ring to Rule the Dome is passed around. Yes. There's a Mindbridge meeting immediately after the meeting. Mindbridge is wrapping at Barnes & Noble on Saturday the 22nd. Next book discussion will be....wait, this is supposed to be business NOT related to Lord of the Rings. - Ok, the next book discussion at Barnes & Noble will be on the novelization of Lord of the Rings, by J.K. Rowling. - Next SFLIS movie night (after tonight) will be the 2nd Wednesday in January. Lord of the Rings, the animated version. Or the animated Return of the King? The 'Where There's a Whip, There's a Way' song was pretty good. The best part of the movie. The ONLY good part of the movie? - Josh is going to Chicago to catch a plane to Cedar Rapids. Or is he going to Cedar Rapids to catch a plane to Washington (Washington, Iowa?)? - Josh wants your ass! To go to the theater right now and sit in a seat. We need to save 14 of them and we need some people to go there a couple hours early to do this. - Ok, SFLIS is over. And we got through the entire meeting without mentioning Deep Space Nine. Oops! Ok, we ALMOST got through the meeting without.... - On with the Mindbridge meeting!
