SFLIS Minutes - August 15, 2001

- Things are pretty random this week.
- Showing Super Milk Chan at the SWAMP room party at AnimeIowa - should we
  or shouldn't we?
- They're either trying to keep people awake here or there's someone in the
  restaurant with Turette's Syndrom.
- The Invisible Man:  Movie vs. TV versions.  To become invisible, all you
  have to do is disable the pigmentation in your skin, blood, etc.  Or maybe
  not.
- New fantasy series on KCRG this fall, but nobody knows the title.
- Osmosis Jones:  The animated part is pretty good, live action part is
  pretty bad.  William Shatner was good as the mayor, really fit the part.
- Mindbridge meeting Sept. 15.  Should be outside somewhere, in one of the
  finer shelters in Iowa City.
- ICON is in October.  Sign up now, sign up often.
  AnimeIowa is next weekend.
- We have a schedule for the anime shows this fall.  Next one is Sept. 9.
