Is it for people who really like Hello Kitty or people who really hate it? - They billed us $310 for SifFest. We still have money left. - Six Mile Bridge (Celtic rock) will be at the Mill on May 3. - There's an anime show Sunday the 29th. Last one of the semester. First show of the summer might be May 20. No room reserved yet. If it is on the 20th, it can be a special Michele's birthday show. There's an 11th episode of Hand Maid May, on video only. - Riverfest is this weekend. Has anyone signed up for the bike race? - General Theaters is issuing non-refundable tickets for movies that have the Harry Potter trailer. Which is better (or worse) - Angel or John Carpenter's Vampire? Driven, where Sylvester Stallone tries to be a racecar driver. (kind of SF in that way) Lots of bad SF movies for rent at Video Update, like Space Trucker. The Mummy Returns the first weekend in May, which is the same weekend as..... - Demicon is May 4-6. There will be guests. Tadao Tomomatsu and? Anime Central is the weekend after that. - We have a discussion on the "proper" way to eat naked pasta, and of Smurf blood trails in the pathology lab. - Spider Robinson's 'By Any Other Name' is the next book for discussion at Barnes & Noble. 'A Deepness in the Sky' by Vernor Vinge is after that. A new book series, 'Ring of Dragons,' by Can't Remember the Author. - And that's it.
