Uh-oh, the secretary is the only officer here (looks for a place to hide).
But somebody else volunteers to run the meeting and it starts just a few
minutes late.
- ICON:  ICON has a TICC script, but they can neither confirm nor deny that
  there's a director.
  A letter from Biljon was read.  It's been posted to this forum too, so
  you can read it yourself if you want. (And I should have looked at it
  again to see if I spelled the name correctly.)
  If you have any ideas for gaming or if you want to run a game, talk to
  Jeremy Hitchcock.
  The ICON LARP page is ready.  You can get to it from, where else, the ICON
  webpage, which you can get to from   www.sflis.org
- The Mindbridge meeting will be Saturday Sept. 26 in room 234 of the Clarion
  hotel. (Looks like I forgot to write down the time.)
  You need to show up to be a member.  Or if you can't show up, you
  need to do whatever the bylaws say you need to do.
  Suggestions for ICON 24 guests and programming will be taken at the meeting.
- Gamicon Lite will be Sunday Sept. 27 from 10-10 in the IMU.
  It is being run by the same people doing the gaming for ICON.  Talk to them
  if you want to run something or help out.
- AnimeIowa has at least 85 prereges.  Preregistration ended July 31.
  Now the price is $35 for the whole weekend, single day rates will be less
  than that, but higher than they were last year.
  They're working on the programming schedule now.  If you have any ideas,
  talk to them.
- The first anime show of the fall semester might be Aug. 30.
- Tadao plays a Japanese businessman in a commercial for "There's Something
  about Mary."
- There's a renissance festival in Minneapolis until sometime in September.
  Anyone interested in going there?
- That's it, meeting going to Cuba.
