SFLIS MINUTES - APRIL 22, 1998

- Riverfest is this Saturday, the 25th.  SFLIS will have a table there
  10 a.m. - 4 p.m.  If you're interested in helping out, talk to Michele
  or just show up.  We'll be at the IMU, outside if the weather's nice.
- Campus mail:  The 1999 dance marathon is looking for people already.
  Lots of stuff about riverfest.
- SWAMP is having their 3rd anniversary show Sunday the 26th, 1 - 10 p.m.
  C107 PBAB.  Lots of stuff will be given away.  Lots of anime will be shown.
- Bluegrass music in the background for this week's meeting.  Next week's
  background music will be....
- Introductions.  What is your favorite ice cream?
- Demicon is in 2 weeks.  Or less.  Make your hotel reservations NOW.
  For the art show, everything they've gotten so far is new, stuff they
  haven't seen before at Demicon.
  Last year's TICC skit at Demicon was their first musical ever.
  This year they will be doing another very funny musical comedy.
  There is a hot tub at the hotel.  It's not finished yet, but it should
  be ready in time for the con.
  Bennigan's restaurant is open and it's pretty popular, so parking at the
  hotel may be a problem Friday and Saturday evening.
  SWAMP will be showing anime at Demicon.  If you have any suggestions for
  the schedule, talk to Marty soon.
- Conquest is Memorial Day weekend in Kansas City.
- The Babylon 5 Interstellar Alliance is meeting Saturday the 25th at 6 p.m.
  C125 Poppajohn Business Adm. Bldg.
  I think they'll be showing Babylon 5 there.
- Jen Con is this weekend at Cornell.
- There's a Merlin thing on NBC Sunday and Monday at 8 p.m.
- Babylon 5, "The Gathering" this week.  A remake of the original pilot
  movie.
