- Campus mail was read and passed around. And some of the announcements were
for things that are still in the future! Wow!

  Everyone was invited to attend.

fiction aspects of it. There's an SF group using it to teach Klingon.
- It's past the deadline for Minicon. All three of the hotels are completely
  filled this year.
- Gamicon: There will be another one next year.
- ICON: Still no report.

  Theme is "Samurai anime"
- Plattecon is this weekend in Platteville, WI. Steve Crow will be running
  a Babylon 5 tournament.
- Movies: Sphere - reported to have good acting, but a bad script, with
"holes in the plot large enough that you could skid a semi through
  sideways."
Dark City, The Avengers (in July?), Lost in Space, Godzilla, X-Files,
  Armageddon, and more.
- A dissertation on comic books has been approved and may show up at the
  university library sometime.
- More movies: Martian Chronicles, Mercury Rising, Lord of the Rings, X-Men,
Star Wars episoce 1 (with a release date of May 21, 1999, maybe)
- Silence. We decide to end the meeting.
