• At 5:35, assuming that our president had been assasinated, vice president Jon Maakestad called the meeting to order.
• Since there were a couple unfamiliar faces at the meeting, we started doing introductions, but didn't get very far.
• A letter from Alois was passed around.
• DemiCon's search for a hotel. This year it will be at the Howard Johnson's, which by DemiCon weekend, will have transformed itself into a Sheriton.

• Discussion of Babylon5 premier, new XFiles episode.
• New probe sent to map the moon, look for evidence of ice.
• The Tonight Show on New Year's Eve featured a former ICON guest - Tadao Tomomatsu. Wearing a diaper.
• Movie - 'The Postman' General consensus is that if you like Kevin Costner, you'll probably like the movie. Otherwise.....
• No anime news this week. (If I find out anything, I'll post it later.)
