• o Henry was secretary God of the week. Even though I showed up, I think the beginning of the meeting is worth deification.
• o I'kon was this weekend (thank you Klingons). The guest count was 497ish...Interesting and various rowdy stories, and stuff.
• o Monetary matters from Icon. We raised $103 for the library, and #394 for Rafael, who came off life support successfully this weekend. They think he's going to make it.
• o Charles de Lint is author guest of honor for Icon 23.
• o Daily Iowan had a Joe Haldeman story.
• o SIF officer election time. Nominations for the next two weeks, voting for the two after that. Lynda requests, and I back her up by writing it down. Please nominate folks who will actually do their office. Zoey was a great VP, except well, he didn't officiate any meetings...
• o Henry sez the Kasini's in space. Yeah, I can't spell Sputnik either. Oh.
• o Marty sez Anime show this weekend. Usual place, usual time. Theme is demon possessed anime.
• o Upcoming November anime themes. November 2. Troublemaker Anime. November 16.Ambiguous Gender Anime. Like that isn't all anime?
