-
o Volunteer sheets for Icon are being circulated! Sign up! Win cool
stuff by working so many hours. For example, for a mere 15 volunteer hours, win
a cool Kaja Folio tote bag. (That's with Kaja's art work on it for you
literalists out there.)

serious baby complications. Jane had an emergency c-section. The little boy is
6 pounds, has heart trouble, possible brain damage, and isn't going to most
likely make it. Any good vibes you could share in that direction would be very
cool. A card is forthcoming for the group to sign.

previous one, talk to Michele and Jon. They only still have 50 or so...
-
o Marty reminds Anime showing this weekend. You know, the usual
Pappajohn type of place on the usual Sunday type of times.
-
o Also Marty thanks all those AnimeIowa volunteers who worked hard.
-
o We all applauded Marty so he could bask in the adulation he should
have gotten last week for AnimeIowa, but was not present to receive.
-
o This Saturday is the 40th anniversary of the launching of Sputnik.
-

controlling interest in the Sci Fi Channel, and they want to do
things...whatever that might mean.
-
All the news that's fit to print has been printed. So, go to Icon next
Saturday, why don't you. And while you're at it, come to these SIF meetings.
