This meeting is the last meeting of this year. SFLIS will meet again on January 8, 1997. Happy Holidays everybody!
The meeting began with a Gamicon folding party.
Galen took charge of the meeting. There was no mail.
Lynda arrived late because of her Pentium at work, and Galen relinquished dictatorship for the evening.
Because of the holiday season, there will be no organized field trip to see Mars Attacks.
Simon reports on the Tourney of Animation at the Bijou, which is showing still this week. Check the Bijou for times. Simon suggests that you see Creature Comforts--it's worth it on the big screen. Another worth episode is Ren and Stimpy's Big House Blues. This year's tourney has many strange entries, but is overall pretty good.
Henry announced that USA is showing Star Wars tonight, Empire tomorrow, and Jedi Friday. Go for it Star Wars fans.

Caught in rerun land: XFiles (althought last Friday's was new, and blows a hole in the whatever happened to Mulder's sister mythos, according to Jon), Babylon 5, Deep Space 9, Voyager.
Millenium is still new episodes at the moment.
Both of those zany pagans, Xena and Hercules, have Christmas episodes this week. Christmas episodes before Christ? Go figure.
Marty reports that last week's anime showing was very good. There was a fine turn out for Totoro.
At the next meeting (January 8) we begin taking nominations for Gamicon Theta's new con comm (the con comm for Gamicon in 1998)
