ICARE is sponsoring their Annual ICARE CABARET, a benefit for HIV/AIDS services. It is a show of Talend and Entertainment featuring Music, Poetry, Drag, and Various other talents plus a raffle! It's Sunday August 25th at 7 PM at the Deadwood, and there is no cover charge. Also, 1920's costumes are encouraged!
Philit Jose Farmer is getting a special award the weekend of ICON and will be unable to attend ICON.

SIF is going to have a table at the Student Activity Fair on Thursday August 29th, noon to 4 pm in the IMU Landmark Lobby.
On Sunday Sep 29th is the start of celebrations for UI's 150th Anniversary from noon to 5:20 pm, west bank of the Iowa River between the Art Building and Hancher, with fireworks at 8:15 pm
