Marty said the next Anime showing will be July 21 from 1 PM until 10 PM in the Minnesota Room of the IMU. He also said that he's having some problems scheduling rooms on campus, and is looking into why.
Gregg announced that the ICON ConCom has signed a contract with the Westfield for future ICONs to be October 10-12 in 1997, October 16-18 in 1998, and October 15-17 in 1999. He said that ICON could cancel up to six months in advance without penalty.
Gregg also announced that Phillip Jose Farmer will be at this year's ICON!
Jon said that GamiconLite is free this weekend in Cedar Rapids, July 13th from 10 AM until 8 PM at the Iowa Room, Iowa Hall, Kirkwood South.
Mick said that the TICC script deadline has been extended until Wednesday July 17th
There will be a GamiconLite radio spot at 9:20 pm on 108 FM on July 10
Gregg said that K-mart had Star Wars erector set Millenium Falcons on sale and that Fleetway had a 3D puzzle of the same on sale.
ICON is looking for suggestions for FAN GOH's for ICON 22.
JJ said there have been several updates to the SIF web page, and will add a pointer to Steve Crow's to the ICON page as soon as Steve tells JJ what it is.
Concussion is the last weekend of July in Councel Bluffs!
Jon said he saw Independence Day (ID4) last week and it was GREAT!
JJ distributed copies of the SIF phone list to those present who were on the list.
